Centennial Concert Hall Box Office is open one hour prior to all performances for "Will Call" ticket pickup, customer assistance, and to purchase any remaining tickets.
Located throughout the lobby and Piano Nobile areas. At most performances the following items may be purchased spirits, wine, beer, liqueurs, soft drinks, coffee, tea, cappuccino, assorted juices, ice cream and other food.
Centennial Concert Hall will be a cashless venue starting Jan 1, 2024; We accept debit and credit via Square Point of Sale Terminals. Square works with any Canadian-issued and most non-Canadian issued credit cards with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover or UnionPay International logo, as well as Interac Debit cards. Apple pay and Android pay are accepted as well. After January 1, 2024, we will no longer accept cash at the bars and concessions.
Patrons who have cash and wish to use it will be able to purchase a square gift card at the Guest Services office. The gift cards will be accepted at the bars and concessions, these gift cards are unique to Centennial Concert Hall, once loaded they can only be used here.
Beverages Inside The Theatre: You may bring your beverage in the theatre, simply request a disposable cup and lid from the attendant. Plastic bottle beverages are allowed as well. Centennial Concert Hall does not permit glass or food inside the theatre.
The Piano Nobile is located on the west wall of the Centennial Concert Hall on the mezzanine level. This area hosts a variety of activities including; receptions, pre-show chats and monthly art exhibits by Manitoba artists.
Coat Check is available at most performances and is located directly behind the feature wall mural in the main lobby. Current coat check price is $2/item (as of Aug 1, 2024)
For your convenience, restrooms are located on the Orchestra Level (main lobby), First Balcony, Second Balcony and on the Lower Concourse Level. Orchestra Level restrooms are wheelchair accessible. A family washroom is located on 1st Balcony.
Can’t find your seat? Have a question? Problem with your view or experience? Our ushering staff is available at all performances to help answer your questions and point you in the right direction. You can also visit our Patron Services Office located inside the main lobby, or the box office which is located next to Patron Services.
Connect you directly with the Guest Services office if you have a concern or require assistance. The phones are located on the balcony levels of the Centennial Concert Hall.
HOUSE POLICIES
To make your experience a positive one, we have established House Etiquette. Your courtesy and cooperation with the following items helps to ensure comfort and enjoyment for all of our guests. Venue management and event promoters reserve the right to evict any patron for violation of any event or venue policy. Repeated violations may result in a permanent ban from the theatre.
Our front doors open one hour prior to curtain time. Theatre seating is generally available one half hour prior to show time, or at the discretion of the Manager of House Services. Many shows operate with a no re-entry policy, so we encourage you to bring with you anything you believe you will need during the performance as you might not be able to return during the show if you leave the venue.
For minimum disruption, late arrivals will be held in the lobbies until an appropriate break in the program (as determined by the show’s management or producers). To allow late-comers the opportunity to follow the program, closed-circuit colour monitors are positioned for viewing on all levels.
BAG POLICY
Large Backpacks and large bags / suitcases are not allowed in the venue. Any bags brought in are subject to search.
Please limit to a maximum 1 small bag per person
UNRULY BEHAVIOUR
If you are experiencing an issue related to unruly behaviour, please find a Centennial Concert Hall staff member and report the issue, or text 431-323-3879 with your location and brief description.
To ensure that all patrons have a pleasant experience, each patron should act responsibly and be considerate of others. Unruly behaviour will not be tolerated and in some cases may be deemed grounds for dismissal from the venue. These cases include, but are not limited to:
- Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, or illegal in nature.
- Actions that are harmful to or endanger others.
- Throwing any object.
- Using abusive / vulgar language or profanity near other patrons.
- Displaying inconsiderate behaviour towards others.
- Disorderly conduct.
- Unreasonably obstructing the view of other patrons.
- Intoxication or other signs of alcohol or substance impairment resulting in poor behaviour.
- Smoking in non-designated areas, E-cigarettes and Vaping are considered smoking.
- There are no indoor areas where smoking is allowed by Manitoba Law.
- Sitting or standing in the aisles.
- Failure to follow instructions of venue personnel.
- Entering the venue with any restricted items.
Any other acts or behavior that in the judgment of management poses a threat to other patrons or diminishes their enjoyment of the show.
Each event patron is responsible for their conduct. Venue staff will strive to maintain an atmosphere where all fans in attendance can enjoy the event free from the above behaviours. Event patrons in violation of these provisions may be subject to ejection, arrest, and loss of ticket privileges for future events. Manitoba Centennial Centre Corporation management reserve the right to deem an act or exhibited behavior as inappropriate and act based on available information and circumstances.
SEARCHES AND RESTRICTED ITEMS
The venue reserves the right to conduct a search of all patrons in order to gain entry to our venue. The following items are NOT permitted into the venue:
- Professional Cameras, Audio or Recording Devices
- Glass bottles or cans
- Outside food and beverages
- Outside alcoholic beverages
- Electronic cigarettes / chewing tobacco (can not be used in the facility)
- Any item that may be used as a weapon (including pocket knives)
- Laser pointers / flashlights
- Fireworks
- Large Backpacks or large bags, suitcases
- Glow Sticks
- Inflatables (beach balls, balloons, etc.)
- Projectiles
- Signs or banners, or any other items that may disrupt the experience
- Selfie Sticks
- Any item management deems a safety concern or production concern.
Please follow guidelines to prevent being ejected from the venue. Patrons who are ejected will not be allowed to re-enter.
Share the air - Consider going scent free when attending performances, our guests with allergies will appreciate it.
Cameras, video cameras and audio recording devices are not permitted inside the theatre. Cameras may be permitted during some performances at the promoter’s discretion.
Regardless of age, every guest requires an admission ticket. To ensure maximum enjoyment for all, we recommend that children be of age to sit quietly throughout a performance. Babes-in-arms may be permitted at family or children’s programs, but the standard venue policy is no babes-in-arms. Babe-in-arms is defined as 0-12 months.
Children’s shows: All children must have a ticket, babes in arms may or may not be subject to this policy depending on the show. If you have questions, please contact the venue.
Please be courteous and silence cellular phones and other electronic devices before the performance begins.
Our theatre is a smoke-free facility, this includes all personal smoking devices (E-cigarettes, vaporizers etc).
A certified first aid provider is present at all performances. If you require medical assistance, please contact an usher.
