PARKING & LOCATION  

Centennial Concert Hall is located at 555 Main street, Winnipeg, MB. There are a number of parking options (indoor, outdoor and accessible) when visiting the Arts District.  Proceeds from parking lots managed by the Manitoba Centennial Centre support the Arts in Manitoba.

INDOOR PARKING LOT

Entrance located behind Centennial Concert Hall on Lily Ave. Height restriction of 6 feet 10 inches.

Some commercial events offer the convenience of pre-purchasing a spot in our parkade - see the "Pre-Purchase Parking" button above for more details.  This is a premium service that holds a parking spot for you, so may not be the same price as what is charged on event night.  Note:  pre-purchased parking is not available for all events; some events remain as first come first served. 

If you are attending the RWB, WSO, or MB Opera, please contact them directly to pre-purchase a parkade spot.  Limitations apply - each organization can provide you with the details on how they allocate spots.

INDOOR EVENT PARKING

$25 event parking purchased on a first come basis

Event parking for performances at Centennial Concert Hall and Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre - general hours:

  • Mon - Fri - After 5:00 pm
  • Weekends - 2 hours before show time.
  • Event parking not available Mon-Fri before 5:00 pm
  • Pay event rate at pay station prior to performance and your ticket will be valid for exit until 1:00 am.

Pay stations located in the lower level between the Museum and Centennial Concert Hall

  • Pay stations accept debit and credit
  • You can pay at the paystations on the way out, but we encourage you to do it on the way in to avoid lines.
  • You can pay at the exit arm, but it only accepts debit and credit.


Evening Hourly Indoor Parking

  • $5.00 per hour with a maximum of $20.00 (pay at pay station when exiting)
  • $20.00 for a full evening 5:00 pm - 11:59 pm.
  • $35 for a lost ticket
  • Rates subject to change without notice; always check pricing on the machines for the most up to date price


MONTHLY PARKING

ACCESSIBLE PARKING RESERVATIONS

WSO concerts please call the WSO box office at (204) 949-3999; deadline to book parking is noon (12 pm) on Fridays.

City of Winnipeg Parking - Street Parking

Various streets may have parking options available.  It is important that you double check all signage as some spots may only be available at certain times or on certain days, or may have limits to how long you can park.  The city is changing how you pay for parking (if applicable). 

Please see How to Pay For Parking on the city of Winnipeg website for further details - you pay now via an app by credit card and not into a meter with coin.

IMPORTANT:  Many spots are not available during certain times of the day - please double check the signage carefully!​​​​
 


TRANSIT


Centennial Concert Hall is located on several main transit routes.   Transit stops on Main street include the Centennial Concert Hall Stop located directly in front of the facility, and the City Hall stop located across the street (controlled intersection with traffic lights) from the facility.  To determine your best route, please visit NAVIGO.  Our facility is located at 555 Main Street.

Starting June 29th, 2025, new transit routes will be in operation.   Centennial Concert Hall will be serviced by Routes FX2, FX3, F8, D16, & 43.   
If you are using NAVIGO or other Winnipeg Transit Bus Apps, the stops around Centennial Concert Hall are as follows:
Stop 10629 - Northbound Main & James.  Served by FX2 and FX3 (north and east-bound)
Stop 10635 - Southbound Main at William (City Hall).  Served by FX2, FX3, F8, D16 (south bound)
Stop 10657 - Northbound King at William (City Hall).  Served by F8, D16, 43

Common Routes - quick guide
FX2 is the route that travels between Garden City Shopping Centre and St. Vital Shopping Centre, using Main Street (North Bound) and St. Mary's Road (Southbound).   This route (going south) connects with Blue line at Pioneer.
FX3 is the route that travels between the Redonda Loop (Transcona) and south west via Grant Avenue to Moray to Sturgeon Road.   It passes through Osborne Station and the various transfers available there.
F8 is used for Henderson-Pembina. To go Northbound up Henderson, cross through the courtyard at City Hall and catch on King Street.  To go southbound, catch at City Hall on the Main Street side.
