No work in the history of music transmits the urge to want to sing more than Handel’s Messiah! Our WSO tradition continues, as the special glow of the season comes alive in Handel’s matchless sense of timing and drama, where the music’s memorable path from darkness to light never fails to inspire. The Hallelujah Chorus, the ongoing flow of beautiful arias, ensembles and magnificent choruses has made Messiah immortal. We welcome all our soloists for their WSO debuts, and the University of Manitoba Singers for whom Handel’s magnificent choruses sound tailor-made.
